Havering Council: Stop plans to build on Upminster Park...
Upminster park is in the center of the town, it is a well used green space and has been awarded Green Flag status. It also has a small car park which is essential to users of the park and to shoppers of the town and ideally it would be better if the site, where the Old Windmill Hall used to stand, was used to increase the size of the car park.
You do not have to live near this park to sign this petition. If these plans go ahead it is inevitable that other parks and green spaces in Havering will suffer the same fate... The leader of Havering Council Cllr Micheal White has stated that he would not take any notice of any petitions or views from residents regarding these proposals.
WHAT A HYPOCRITE!
